Biography
Xiao developed an interest in low-valent main group chemistry during his master's studies. His research focuses on highly reactive low-valent species that possess unique electronic structures and exhibit reactivity reminiscent of transition metals. He is also interested in the development of metal-free catalytic systems that harness these low-valent species as key reactive intermediates.
Research Interests
Hobbies
Beyond the lab, Xiao enjoys hiking and spending his free time playing video games.
